Alaska Airlines partners with two survey platforms that let members earn redeemable points, which are also eligible for status points toward elite status, since both are “Everyday partners” of Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards: The Opinion Terminal and e-Rewards.
While there are minor differences between the two, the overall concept is the same. Complete surveys to earn redeemable points, and those earnings will also generate status points in your Atmos Rewards account.
To get started, you’ll need to enroll with your name, date of birth, address, and Atmos Rewards number. The sign-up process is nearly identical for both platforms.
After creating and verifying your account via email, you may be asked to complete a brief initial survey. This helps determine your eligibility and the types of surveys you’ll receive. Some users report being screened out based on demographics, which can limit the number of available surveys.
Survey payouts vary, and rewards typically post to your Atmos Rewards account within 4-6 weeks. That said, the earning setup differs slightly depending on which platform you use.
The Opinion Terminal
- New member bonus: Earn 400 points when you join The Opinion Terminal and complete your first survey.
- How rewards are earned: Points are automatically deposited into your Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards account within 4-6 weeks after completing a survey.
- Status points: The Opinion Terminal is one of Alaska Airlines’ Everyday partners, meaning it’s eligible for status points. You’ll earn 1 status point toward elite status for every 3 redeemable points earned. For example, a survey worth 120 points would net 40 status points.
e-Rewards
- New member bonus: Earn 250 points when you sign up and complete your first survey.
- How rewards are earned: Points earned through e-Rewards can be redeemed across various partner programs or for things like gift cards. You can also convert your earnings to Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards points at a ratio of 25 e-Rewards points to 500 Atmos Rewards points. After redeeming, rewards are typically deposited into your account within 4-6 weeks.
- Status points: e-Rewards is also an Alaska Airlines Everyday partner, making it eligible for status points. As with other partners, you’ll earn 1 status point for every 3 redeemable points earned. So, a 120-point survey would result in 40 status points.
