Preferred car rental partners
You can earn both Atmos Rewards points and status points when you book eligible rentals with Alaska Airlines’ preferred car rental partners, Avis and Budget, through Alaska Car Rentals or Hawaiian Car Rentals.
Atmos Rewards members can save up to 35% off Avis base rates and up to 30% off Budget base rates while earning up to 1,250 redeemable Atmos Rewards points on qualifying rentals. Earnings break down as follows:
- Platinum and Titanium members: 1,250 Atmos Rewards points
- Silver and Gold members: 1,000 Atmos Rewards points
- Atmos Rewards Visa cardholders and Hawaiian Airlines World Elite Mastercard cardmembers: 750 Atmos Rewards points
- Regular members: 500 Atmos Rewards points
In addition, eligible rentals booked through Alaska Car Rentals earn 1 status point per $1 spent toward Atmos Rewards elite status.
To earn, simply book through Alaska’s preferred partner offers and provide your Atmos Rewards number.
Note that Avis and Budget rentals booked outside of Alaska Car Rentals or Hawaiian Car Rentals won’t earn status points.
Elite members can also take advantage of complimentary status matches with Avis Preferred Plus or Avis President’s Club.
Lyft
By linking your Lyft and Atmos Rewards accounts, you can earn rewards on eligible rides.
Atmos Rewards members earn:
- 3 redeemable points per $1 spent on airport and elevated rides (Extra Comfort, Black, and Black SUV rides)
- 2 redeemable points per $1 spent on everyday Lyft rides (Standard, Priority Pickup, and XL rides)
- 1 status point per $1 spent on eligible Lyft purchases
Eligible spending includes base fare charges, but not taxes, fees, tolls, and tips.
Once your accounts are linked, your earnings are automatic on eligible rides.

Beyond the points and status points earned through eligible car rentals and Lyft rides, you can accelerate your progress toward elite status by paying with an eligible Alaska Airlines credit card.
Eligible cardholders earn additional status points based on their credit card spending:
- Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card: Earn 1 status point for every $2 spent.
- Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature Credit Card: Earn 1 status point for every $3 spent.
